18歲的佳淳與剛從醫院搬回家的母親住在一間老屋裡。佳淳靠著早上到橡膠園工作賺錢及親戚金錢的補助來照顧母親和養活自己。農曆新年的日子越來越接近，佳淳準備各種食物，在家裡點綴一些過年飾品，試圖營造過年的氛圍，試圖回到從前家中過年時熱鬧歡樂的時候。
Jiachun is 18 years old, she lives in an old house with her mother who has just moved home from the hospital. Other than relying on the money subsidy from relatives, Jiachun work in the rubber plantation early of the morning to take care of her mother make a living. As the Lunar New Year is getting closer, Jiachun prepares various of dishes, and put on some decorations in the house to create the ambience of New Year, intends to go back to the old days when the home was lively and joyous.

媽媽離家，爸爸不爭氣，無所依靠且年紀尚幼的宇航只能自食其力，養活自己和妹妹。被兒女目睹自己被追債的爸爸因羞愧且自責不已，毅然決然地離開了家。而被留下來的宇航，打算帶著妹妹踏上尋找媽媽的旅程。
The mother ran away from home, and the father is giving up, the helpless young little Yuhang have to take care of his little sister and he can only count on himself. The father has been hounded by the creditors, and this scene was witnessed by his child. The father felt shame and self-blaming, so he left his child at home and gone. Here began the journey of Yuhang taking his little sister to find their mother.

秋天，一個馬來西亞女孩拖著行李到了台北，約了多年不見的學長宇航見一面。宇航下班後帶著女孩吃台灣的小吃，觀賞101大樓，有一句沒一句的分享著彼此過的生活狀態，聊到黎明即將到來。這一天是男生的第二十五個生日。
It is an autumn, a girl from Malaysia reaches Taiwan and was dragging her luggage. She called up Yuhang to have a meet up. After Yuhang gets off from work, he took the girl for some Taiwanese snacks, and they visit the Taipei 101 Tower, and sharing the little things happened in life, and continue chit-chatting whole night until the dawn, the 25th birthday of the boy.

During the break time, Zhong was discussing his script with Director Ko. Director Ko asks Zhong to add more violence and bloody elements, so Zhong started to do a lot of searching. He went to the library for real cases, interview with murderers, tries to imitate the murderer’s expression, picking his weapon, and playing back his murdering method recorded by his recorder.

On the next day, she saw girl holding a bicycle on the alley she pass by everyday…
