1997年9月9日，兩名砂石工人在台北縣板橋江翠里新海橋大漢溪下游發現岸邊有一包裝有尸塊的塑料袋，裡面是人的斷臂與身體殘肢。三天後，中正橋下游新店溪岔道水溝中，又發現一顆頭髮脫落掉光、無法辨識的浮腫頭顱，經法醫楊日松鑑識，確認這些屍塊應屬同一名女性死者。
9th of September 1977, around noon, two gravel workers found a bag of plastic bag filled with body parts at the down stream of the New Dahan river bridge in Jiangcui, Banqiao District, Taipei. Inside are some body stump and broken limbs. Three days later, In the ditch of river fork of Xindian River, upstream of ZhongZheng Bridge, found another bald, unrecognizable swollen skull. According to the Forensic identification, confirmed that these body stumps belong to the same female victim.
創作理念
我是馬來西亞來台灣唸書的外籍生，第一次聽到江子翠時還以為是個女生的名字，後來才知道是一個地方的名字。江子翠這個地方在1977年發生過一場分尸案，這個事件在當時非常轟動。江子翠這三個字讓我印象非常深刻，因此想要透過江子翠這個名字來創作一部實驗短片。

無論是哪個國家、哪個地區的市中心，都會有流浪街頭的人存在，在越繁華的地方能更明顯的看到貧福差距。
作者利用自身第一次到台北流浪街頭的經歷，表達台北街友的故事。
